About Zora Randhawa

The scintillating Punjabi singer, Zorawar Singh Randhawa, popularly known as ‘Zora’ was born in Amritsar Punjab on 19th of November. Zora comes from a highly intellectual family background, both his parents being Doctors. Zora was the youngest in the family and the naughtiest amongst the three siblings. From early childhood he participated in his school functions and still remembers his primary school music teacher, who had recognized his interest in music and inculcated the nuances of music in him at an early age of 7. At the age of 11 he learnt the music instruments Tabla and Harmonium and singing Shabads in his school in Jalandhar and loved to listen to music and was very fond of Surjit Bindrakhia and Dr. Zeus, and bought their original CDs.


At the age of 16 Zora moved to UK with his parents and at the age of 20 he went on to pursue is studies in Australia where he first met Dr. Zeus on his Australia Tour who agreed to work with him and that’s how Zora’s musical journey started. While in the studio Dr.Zeus and Zora share a teacher –student relationship and otherwise he is like a big brother to him. Zora’s debut project with Dr. Zeus was “INCH” in 2015 that became No 1 most downloaded Punjabi track on BBC Asian Network, the official download chart that made him a star overnight. He travelled across the globe on the ‘INCH’ tour and gave many hits like 22DA ‘PESHI’ ‘OKAY’ & WONDERLAND,’FAALTU’ & ‘DANGEY’ taking his career to new heights. His latest song ‘Woofer’ composed by Dr. Zeus is a power packed Punjabi number that also features the Rap king ‘Snoop Dogg’ produced in collaboration with BeingUstudios which understood Dr. Zeus and his vision of propagating Punjabi language globally, and has put in their best efforts to make the track a great success!
